PRESIDENT

Larry Kurtz - Founder and Artist Director of Festival. Owner of Kurtz Millworks Architectural Woodworking. Musician and lead singer of Trouble & Strife Blues Band, winners of the 2007 Canadian Indie Music Awards Blues Group Of The Year. Studied Media Arts at Sheridan College. Member of venue, artist selection and grants committees.


TREASURER

Gary Brown - Chartered Accountant for 35 years CFO of public and private companies Currently consultant in finance and business to technology companies Board member since 2005, member of finance, grants and budget committees.


FESTIVAL ADMINISTRATOR
 

Gord McWilliams - Business General Manager who owned a Glass business for 30 years. Volunteer since 2003 and in charge of sponsorship program. Gord is the "go-to" guy for all the festival day-to-day activities and organization.

BOARD MEMBERS

Nancy Stallmach - Honours BA in History Executive Director – Dufferin & District Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Founding Board member and member of sponsorship and volunteer committees.

Michael Hill - B.Sc. in Computer Science. Self employed Computer Consultant. Past Chair of Orangeville BIA. Member Orangeville Economic Development Committee. Board member since 2006.

Ryan Grist - Honours Graduate of Humber College’s Jazz and Commercial Music Program major in Performance. Professional Musician & Self-employed carpenter. Founding Board member.

EX-OFFICIO MEMBERS

Ted Gerber - Owns Disc Mfg business and a Piano service and sales company. 30 years experience in music business as a concert promoter and A&R manager. Founding Board member in charge of stage/sound, and member of finance budgeting committees.

Winston Uytenbogaart - Town planner and interior designer. Volunteer since 2003, manages stage assembly and Festival grounds operations during events.

Garth Stiebel - Bachelor of Arts (English Literature), employed at the Regional Municipality of York in Supplies and Services. Volunteer Co-ordinator, RAT and Editor of the newsletter, volunteer since 2007.
